Privacy & cookies

This workspace uses essential site cookies by default. Analytics only turn on after you explicitly accept them.

What the site stores

A plain-language summary of the data used by the deployed workspace.

Essential cookies

The site may use essential cookies that keep the interface working, such as display preferences like light or dark mode. These are part of the basic experience and do not track traffic analytics.

Optional analytics cookie

If you accept analytics, the workspace stores a first-party anonymous identifier in your browser. That identifier lets the server count unique visitors, page views, and main workflow actions such as study generation or participant randomization.

What is not collected

The analytics feature does not ask for names, email addresses, or account registration data. It is intended only to measure anonymous site usage after consent.

Where analytics data is stored

Usage totals are stored on the server running this Flask application in the local instance/usage_stats.json file. Saved study setups and history data remain part of the workspace functionality and are stored separately from analytics.

Your choice

You can choose Accept analytics or Essential only from the cookie banner. Rejecting analytics keeps the site usable without the visitor-tracking cookie.
